The Mountain Loop Mine Fill Site accepts soil, dirt, and other types of reclamation fill. Our fill recycling facility is just one of the many ways we’re able to actively participate in preserving the environment and improving communities in the Northwest region. Our reclamation fill site operates under Washington Department of Environmental Protection (WADEP) and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) guidelines.
Mountain Loop Mine always has at least 2 million cubic yards of disposal space available. After we mine out materials we backfill the empty space with clean soil. The area is then dozed off, compacted, and will begin its journey back to forest land. We have gratitude for the materials the earth gives us to build needed infrastructure and returning the land to its original state is equally as important as the construction projects we support.
